When I read on Facebook that Kendra and Ryan were engaged.... in the back of my mind I was really hoping that Kendra would ask me to shoot their big day.  You see, we knew Kendra and her family while we lived in Palm Bay Florida.  Kendra's father Kevin Able, was the pastor at our church in Palm Bay and Kendra's mom Lee Able was (and still is) one of my wife's best friends.  In the summer of 2004 the Able's moved back to their hometown of Martinsville IN just a few months before we moved back our hometown of Lock Haven PA.  We joked about it and said that if the Able's weren't around anymore... then we might as well leave Florida. (those back to back hurricanes Frances & Jeanne helped make our decision easier.)  Since 2004, the Able's have visited PA a few times and we've been out to IN few times .. 9 hour road trips on Rt 80. 

Well Kendra did ask... and I said YES so it was off to IN.   We started our Indy adventure Thursday with a Family & Friends mixer at the Aquarium in the Indianapolis Zoo... who wouldn't want to pet the sharks?  Friday morning was hair and makeup in Martinsville and then we headed to "the barn".  The Ceremony and Reception was at Avon Wedding & Event Barn... I love it when you have ceremony and reception at the same location.  It started to get a little cloudy.... fortunately the rain held off just long enough to get the "First Look" and some bridal and family pictures before the ceremony.  It started to sprinkle just as guests were arriving so Plan B went into effect. With some quick table and chair modifications... the outside wedding turned into and inside wedding.  

Kendra's dad Kevin was allowed to "remove his pastors hat" and just enjoy being her father this day. What a time of celebration by all attending.

I was the second shooter for Phil Rodo.... We traveled to the Great Outdoors of Kane, PA.  A beautiful outside wedding and reception.  So much fun with these Messiah College Alumni.  Congratulations to Laura & Jordan... the NEW Mr & Mrs Stone.

For Erika and Christopher.... the day was perfect.  Wedding at the Williamsport Country Club.  As I've said to every bride.... "hang on the day will fly by faster then you can imagine".... and it did.  We started in the morning and the next thing you know... the DJ (John Finn) is announcing last dance.  So many emotions of their special day... captured for years of remembrance.
